ALKA’ABA AS IN QURAN

• Quran cited Prophet Abraham (pbuh) when he was directed to Makkah saying Q14;37
• رَّبَّنَا إِنِّي أَسْكَنتُ مِن ذُرِّيَّتِي بِوَادٍ غَيْرِ ذِي زَرْعٍ عِندَ بَيْتِكَ الْمُحَرَّمِ رَبَّنَا لِيُقِيمُوا الصَّلَاةَ فَاجْعَلْ أَفْئِدَةً مِّنَ النَّاسِ تَهْوِي إِلَيْهِمْ وَارْزُقْهُم مِّنَ الثَّمَرَاتِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَشْكُرُونَ

translation “Our Lord, I have settled some of my descendants in an uncultivated valley near Your sacred House, our Lord, that they may establish prayer. So make hearts among the people incline toward them and provide for them from the fruits that they might be grateful.”——. & Q 2;127

وَإِذْ يَرْفَعُ إِبْرَاهِيمُ الْقَوَاعِدَ مِنَ الْبَيْتِ وَإِسْمَاعِيلُ

translation “ And [mention] when Abraham was raising the foundations of the House and [with him] Ishmael”——This shows us that the Haram (sacred house /holy mosque) was existent before Abraham , & that he & his son elevated the building

•  Looking at the word “Bakkah “ mentioned in Quran to mean the same holy mosque & Makkah Q3;96

إِنَّ أَوَّلَ بَيْتٍ وُضِعَ لِلنَّاسِ لَلَّذِي بِبَكَّةَ مُبَارَكًا وَهُدًى لِّلْعَالَمِينَ

translation “Indeed, the first House [of worship] established for mankind was that at Bakkah (Makkah) – blessed and a guidance for the worlds”——– & if we look at the etymology of the word “Bakkah “ , we find that it is derived from the Arabic verb”Bak” , that is becoming crowded , & it is a crowded place where people from all over the world come to visit
